I know what it’s like to split pills, to juggle extra jobs just to pay the pharmacy, and to wonder if life will ever ease up. I also know the relief of seeing Medicaid step in and finally being able to breathe. Healthcare should be like fire or police protection — there when you need it, without question. Nobody should be one illness away from losing everything.
